"Our adversary is not a mage, a genius, or a wizard"
Our adversary is us, it is me, it is my failure to speak out to speak up, it is my silence. It is not 'them'! There is no 'them', there is only me, there is only us. WE are our own adversary
x elon musk crap... why does anyone expect anything different from this monster?
how about flakebook?? my own take... anyone who spends times on these mediums, get what they deserve.......
substack on the other hand... hasn't been taken down yet.. i am sure it is coming, but hasn't happened yet.... when it does - on to the next new frontier... until then - happy writing and speaking your mind...
What you say is absolutely right, we should find a way to support each other in a way that can make pressure on platforms. But how? In the present world, especially the digital world, we are too individualistic and divided.
You're right, this individualism and divide are only too real. Yet somehow a way must be discovered to overcome it, for otherwise... I dread to think of that "otherwise", the grim alternative of being muzzled forever isn't something anyone wishes to happen. One possible way is to de-virtualise at least some part of our truth-seeking discussions: I can imagine something like an annual or bi-annual "conference of minds" being organised for people to attend, connect with each other, support each other, issue proclamations, and - much more importantly - develop a coherent program for joint future action. Yet this requires strong support from "big hitters" - i.e. people with resources to organise such a thing. Will such support exist? Who knows...

That's it, absolutely! I only wish more people realised this and acted upon the correct impulse - speak out, speak up, break the spell of silence.
